Big Screen in the Garden: Stop Making Sense

Details

Exeter Phoenix presents - BIG SCREEN IN THE GARDEN 2026
RAMM Garden, Exeter

Exeter Phoenix moves outdoors for four nights of cinema under the stars. This year we will sing, and we will dance. We will make new friends and challenge old ones. And along the way, we might just discover that the best stories happen when the sun goes down.

Stop Making Sense (PG)

“Watch out, you might get what you’re after”

Join David Byrne ‘live’ on stage as he thrusts the frantic energy and artsy groove of Talking Heads as they perform hits such as ‘Psycho Killer’ and ‘Take Me to the River’ at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in 1983.

Widely acclaimed as one of the greatest and most innovative concert films ever made, documenting Talking Heads at their peak. Expect an immersive musical experience that builds from a solo acoustic performance into a full ensemble art-rock spectacle, and “big suits”!

Approx start 9pm (gates 7.30)

LOCATION:
RAMM Gardens, Exeter. (EX4 3LS)
Access to Big Screen In The Cinema is via RAMM’s main entrance located through Exeter Phoenix Carpark.
